  1. Hehe! This was me today in 1992. Down on one knee in our dodgy bedsit (red rose, bottle of Cava – the works). ‘Will you marry me?’ I said. His reaction? Laughter. Took me five minutes to convince him I wasn’t taking the mickey! 🙂

      1. Ha! Thing is, Jake, if I hadn’t done it, I think I might still be waiting for a proposal 🙂 Good luck with that, though you can always propose if your intended’s a bit slow on the uptake like my husband was 🙂

  2. Have you seen the movie Leap Year? It’s the usual rom-com, but I have to watch it today in honor of exactly what you describe in this piece–courage to take a leap. Great picture, by the way!
