Top 3 Stories – February 2016

Happy St. David’s Day! When I’ve done my writing for the day, I’m going to learn how to draw a daffodil. Maybe I’ll show you…

Oh, before I forget to mention it again: the final two instalments of my Mslexia guest post series are up.

  • Crossing the Isthmus – I love this world, I’ll have to write more about it
  • Owly Death Stares – brilliant photo prompt, this
  • Loathing – I came around on this one; all things considered, the Love Nudge Series turned out better than it should have, what with me giving it all of three minutes’ planning

That’s my February Top 3. As usual, I’m looking forward to hearing what you’d have chosen.

  1. Love Owly Death Stares – the title alone is one ot draw me in! Did love your Regret in Love Nudge, though – very sad, splitting yuor kids’ artwork. And nice touch with her things being coloured scarlet – why didn’t he just give her a big letter A and have done with it?
Will pop over to Mslexia in a bit – last two already? Blimey 🙂

    1. I think I could easily have put three of the Love Nudges on the list, but I didn’t want to do that… I do like the other two, too.

Yes, Mslexia went both quickly and not fast enough. It was quite tricky writing those posts because I didn’t want to sound like a manual. Still, I’m looking for more guest blogging gigs – as long as I don’t have to write six posts again.

      1. I did enjoy my Mslexia stint, but am stmuped as to who to pitch to next – almost too many sites out there to pitch to (and most don’t pay anyway). Been enjoying writing a story for their competition, though.
