Funnily enough, I had a comments exchange with along these lines yesterday – all about scheming cats! Nice one, Nick

You just can’t be sure with cats – one second he’s the most adorable creature in the world, the next he’s trying to take my hand off… But I can’t really complain, I let the predator in, after all. Thanks, Nick!

They have their own agenda. That’s the thing. And it’s always hidden. Always hidden, Sonya. Mark my words….. (you have to narrow your eyes at this point)….

Do I really want two, now?
Would they scheme, a team?~DM

Oh, but I think you’d be save with two – while one’s trying to ambush you, the other will try to protect you. Just because they’re such contrary creatures 😀
Thanks for stopping by!

Beautiful photograph. Intriguing haiku! I wonder if the owner and the cat could each be having these thoughts.

Thanks – as long as he sits still, it’s easy to take beautiful pictures of him. And based on the way he always struts around the place, I doubt he ever fears for his life – he knows he owns us :). But theoretically speaking, I think each cat and owner might have those thoughts.

Well, the close-up photo is wonderful. And, certainly, the cats own us.

Cats are mysterious. You can’t tell and sometimes they scare the daylights out of me. I remember one time a flurry cat rubbed against my leg, I didn’t know my new friend had a cat. Oh no! I was a sight to behold.

Oh, yes we do… Cats go from adorable to psycho in the blink of an eye – they all think they’re lions, it’s just lucky they’re so small 😀
