Welcome to Week Forty-Six of Three Line Tales.

You’ll find full guidelines on the TLT page – here’s the tl;dr:
- Write three lines inspired by the photo prompt (& give them a title if possible).
- Link back to this post (& check the link shows up under the weekly post).
- Tag your post with 3LineTales (so everyone can find you in the Reader).
- Read and comment on other TLT participants’ lines.
- If you want your post to be included in the round-up, you have until Sunday evening to publish it.
- Have fun.
Happy three-lining!

A great writing prompt, this one can be good if you can’t find a lot of time to write, but it really makes you think!

Lonely Boy (Thanks, Paul Anka, for that.)
I’d stand there, leaning against the wall, waiting for Ethel-Mae Whoozit or Melody Whatchamacallit to come over, run her slim hand over my faux Nehru jacket, grab a silver button and pull me out onto the dance floor.
Why I dressed up for a noon sock hop was anybody’s guess.
Anyways, Mr. Acker Bilk was a Stranger on my Shore that day and I spent the whole dance just holding up the wall.
