You’ll find full guidelines on the TLT page – here’s the tl;dr:

  • Write three lines inspired by the photo prompt (& give them a title if possible).
  • Link back to this post (& check the link shows up under the weekly post).
  • Tag your post with 3LineTales (so everyone can find you in the Reader).
  • Read and comment on other TLT participants’ lines.
  • If you want your post to be included in the round-up, you have until Sunday evening to publish it.
  • Have fun.

Happy three-lining!

  1. A Night in the Country

I was buggered and bent, scrunched down in the damp grass doing my imitation of a squashed snake whilst the morning light charbroiled my eyeballs with acid intensity.

“If you don’t roll over and eat dirt, moron,” she said, “your peepers are gonna roast.”

“Pass the bottle, Eloise,” I bandied right back at her braying beak, “’cause I’ve got a whale of a thirst and I don’t give a tinkers damn at the moment for what the world looks like.”
