Welcome to Week 57 of Three Line Tales.

You’ll find full guidelines on the TLT page – here’s the tl;dr:
- Write three lines inspired by the photo prompt (& give them a title if possible).
- Link back to this post (& check the link shows up under the weekly post).
- Tag your post with 3LineTales (so everyone can find you in the Reader).
- Read and comment on other TLT participants’ lines.
- Have fun.
Happy three-lining!

Unicorn Gobbled
The highlight of my days, now sadly all behind me, was my walking tour of Ethiopia in 1890 which I made in the company of Raga, a plump, albeit stalwart Unicorn I acquired in Cairo at a reasonable rate.
Gascoyne-Cecil had commissioned me to surreptitiously make the journey to somehow implore Menelik 11 to curtail his plan to align with Russia and diminish British influence.
Alas, my mission coincided with the great Ethiopian famine and poor Raga, magnificent companion that he was proving to be, was purloined by starving thieves from a small Inn near Shewa, and viciously consumed raw.
