Welcome to Week 61 of Three Line Tales.

You’ll find full guidelines on the TLT page – here’s the tl;dr:
- Write three lines inspired by the photo prompt (& give them a title if possible).
- Link back to this post (& check the link shows up under the weekly post).
- Tag your post with 3LineTales (so everyone can find you in the Reader).
- Read and comment on other TLT participants’ lines.
- If you want your post to be included in the round-up, you have until Sunday evening to publish it.
- Have fun.
Happy three-lining!

Trespass
There was a time, or so the old ones say in the shadow of their days, spittle dribbling down their crinkly skin, dropping into cold, day-old cups of tea, a time when you could step out into the summer night and all was as quiet as sleep.
Change, the shaving away of our sensitivity, always comes slowly, surreptitiously, gathering weight layer upon layer, subtle slivers piercing the frail skin of liberty.
“Citizen,” the voice from any one of a thousand drones demands to know, “why are you out in the evening air when you know the penalty for trespass?”
