You’ll find full guidelines on the TLT page – here’s the tl;dr:

  • Write three lines inspired by the photo prompt (& give them a title if possible).
  • Link back to this post (& check the link shows up under the weekly post).
  • Tag your post with 3LineTales (so everyone can find you in the Reader).
  • Read and comment on other TLT participants’ lines.
  • Have fun.

Happy three-lining!

So, there I am, beached in a puddle, staring up at this goober with big boots, wondering why no one told me about the hazards of spawning, when he reaches down and gives me a shove.

“Hey, Boot Guy,” I say in my best fishese, knowing full well we don’t share tongues, “what’s with the laying on of hands?”

Then Boot Guy steps back as I re-entry the fast-flowing stream and he’s got this big stupid grin on his kisser as if he’d just saved a species from extinction.

  2. Life Cycles, D. Avery

The cycle of life he mused. The upstream pull, the drive to spawn, the giving of one’s life that Life continue… Absorbed in his thoughts, in the hypnotic music of the stream, too late he realized that a grizzly had been contemplating him.

  3. I think I’ve missed the link to the summary post – the one with all the participants’ posts liked.

Could you please post it here?

    Thank you 🙂
